So you want to be part of The Crupi National Team?

Great, because we want you in too! Crupi has been making the best BMX parts since 1982.  For the past 25 years, Crupi has not only dominated the BMX parts market, but Crupi has sponsored some of the world’s greatest riders along the way including our AA Pro Mike "The Missile" Moeller!   Our goal with this Co-Sponsorship program is to give you a truly National Team program that you can really be a part of.   

But first and most importantly, let's talk about what Sponsorship is all about.  We here at Crupi receive hundreds of sponsorship proposals from riders who think they know what being sponsored is all about, but they really don’t.  It’s OK to think you’ve got what it takes and that you are in fact “Sponsorship Material”.  That is a good healthy attitude to have!  However, let us explain to you what a Sponsorship is really all about and how you can take that healthy attitude and make it work for both you and your sponsor. 

The truth is (and you will find this out with everything in life) there is no such thing as a free ride!  A sponsor will help support you with deals on bikes and uniforms; sometimes even entry fees and transportation.  But Factory Teams or even bike shop teams won’t do this just to be nice; they are in fact expecting something in return.  In order to keep the support you are getting at any sponsorship level, you should ask yourself, "What am I doing in return to justify the support I’m getting?"  If you are winning races, that's good but that’s only a part of being sponsored.  The reason that any sponsor—whether it's a bike shop or Factory Team would sponsor someone is so the team rider will promote the sponsor and spread the word about the sponsors' product so well, that it sends more customers to the sponsor.

Winning races is fine. But since the beginning of time, there have been riders who win everything in sight, but do nothing at all to send customers toward their sponsor. Sometimes a “win-all-the-time” rider with a bad attitude or reputation can even discourage customers from using the products he's using.  I'm sure we've all wondered about certain factory pros that never seem to win a main event, yet they have the most full factory sponsorship there is. These guys are promoters.  Their ‘ride’ is not based on results, but on the way they promote and represent their bike sponsor.  More often than not, many sponsors will choose the friendly “good promoter” rider who might not win all the time, over a bad attitude rider who poorly represents his sponsor, yet wins every race he enters.

When you can combine all of these qualities into a highly competitive, great promoter who is an awesome representative of his/her sponsor and their sponsors' products; then YOU are exactly what Crupi is looking for.  When you look at Crupi riders from all over the world, you will find riders who not only win races, but who are friendly and nice to everyone, and they promote and represent Crupi Parts in the best manner possible!  Can you do this?

Crupi’s National Team is sponsorship program for everyone, not just the best riders but for all riders who are looking to be part of a real National team.  By becoming a member of our National team, you will be eligible for the biggest discounts Crupi offers and the benefit of what a Team can offer.  The Crupi Co-Sponsorship program consists of frames, uniforms and parts at major discounts off regular retail price.  This could save you hundreds of dollars.  See for yourself!

As you can see, by joining the program you will instantly save an additional $98.78 off our best discount program.  You will receive the Crupi frame of your choice, a jersey and t-shirt in your size, stickers and a Team card.  Where club members are only given a 1-year membership to our discount program, Team Green members will be given a lifetime membership into our Club program so you can receive 15% discounts on anything we sell, forever!  

Since it will be difficult to get all of the Team Green riders together at the races, we have come up with a way that everyone can be together as a National Team!  When you join, you will be given a spot on the Team Green page on our website that will include a picture of you and a mini bio about you.  This way, everyone on the team will get to know you through the website and everyone else in the world will know that you are on the Crupi National Team!   We have worked out a deal with MJT Designs to provide Crupi with a great action shot of you in your Crupi Team uniform that we can put on the website.  All you will need to do is visit MJT at the races, choose the photo of yourself you like the best and they will send it to us to put onto the website for free!  Click here to see!

Beginning in the 2008 racing season, The Crupi Factory will attend 7 or 8 select ABA National races with our team trailer and tent.  This is the Factory Pit area that Mike Moeller will be relaxing in between races.  As a member of the National Crupi Team Green Team, you will be invited to pit with us!  That’s right, all you will need to do is show up to any of the races listed on our schedule and you and other Team Green members will have a Factory Pit area to hang out in between races, with Mike Moeller and the Crupi Factory!

To recap everything, when you are accepted into the program you will get:

• 1.  Team Green Package (frame, jersey, shirt & stickers) for just $429.00
• 2.  Lifetime membership into the Crupi Factory Club for your discounts
• 3.  A picture and mini bio about you on the Crupi Website

The first step is to look through the Rules and Regulations Page to see if you qualify.  If you do qualify, then you must fill out the sign up and release forms and the mini bio.  Have your parents help you with them if you need.
