The
new Mack Cassette Hub is the most technologically advanced
cassette hub ever built!This new cassette hub is the result of five years of hard
work and dedication to getting it right.Compared to other cassette hubs on the market, you will
notice how smooth it feels right out of the box.Although the hub will require a short break-in time, it
will get even smoother after a few laps around the track.The hub is silent meaning there is less friction and less
wear.Our cassette hub utilizes 5 independent bearings that all
work together while engaged and then coasts on just 2 bearings to
reduce drag.Here are some features and Tech info on our new hub:
Instant
engagement means there is no in-between gaps.The hub is either engaged, or not.This is a huge advantage when setting your pedals on the gate
and it makes the bike quicker as every turn of the crank is a
positive engagement.
Little
to no chain drag means it won’t slow you down when coasting and it
gets even better and smoother with time.
Crupi
axles and bearings means replacement parts are always available and
maintenance is a snap!
The
Crupi Cassette hub is one of the only cassette hubs that is actually
a completely sealed unit!This
means that maintenance is rarely needed.

Set Upgrades
Titanium
axles give you the strength of chromo axles, but cut about 90 grams of
weight.Aluminum axles are
the lightest in weight but have a rider weight limit of 115lbs.Although Crupi axle sets may work with other hubs, they were
designed specifically for Crupi hubs and we do not recommend putting
them in other hubs.Other
brand hubs with Crupi axles will never work as good as Crupi hubs.Save yourself the expense and aggravation of other hubs and get
Crupi hubs from the start!
All
Crupi hubs and axles now feature extra long front and rear axles.When you use a tensioner or frame saver on an aluminum frame, you
may need a little extra axle to get your axle nuts threaded on properly.With the popularity of Answer forks, you may need a little more
axle in the front as well.Rest assured, Crupi’s got you covered!
