The
Pro XL frame features more conventional geometry and bigger
diameter top and down tubes.
This frame is great for bigger 15-year old riders on up who
need a steeper head angle, a little more working space in the
front end and a stiffer frame.
Although the front end measurements are the same as
our Pro Model, the XL has a slightly longer rear end larger
diameter tubes making it even stiffer for bigger riders.
We
redesigned the front end for 2008 with a bigger and more ovalized
down tube for added strength and stiffness. We also made the
Pro XL a bit longer in the front end. Together with the new
machined drop-outs, this is the nicest frame Crupi has ever
produced!
This
frame requires a 26.8mm seat post and a 1-1/4” seat post clamp.
The head angle gets a little steeper but the back end
remains short.
As with all of our frames, it comes standard with custom
cable hangars and a machined head tube, which is faced for you so
your headset will press in smoothly and evenly.
