Crupi Frames

When you are ready to take your racing to the next level, then it's time to upgrade your equipment.  The frame is the center of it all and all high-end race bikes should begin with a top notch frame.  Once you have your frame, then you can build it up with top notch parts as quickly or as slowly as you like until the entire bike is completely dialed in!

Each Crupi frame is designed for a specific size need and the geometry of that frame is suited for that size rider.  In other words, we didn’t design a frame we liked, then size it to fit everyone.  We don’t add any fancy gimmicks to our frames, we just hand build quality frames that work and work well!

General Frame Information

All Crupi frames are built with seamless drawn 6061 T6 tubing.  Very few other frame companies use this type of material because it is more expensive.  What does this mean to you?  The cold reduction process of our tubing improves dimensional tolerances and simply makes a stronger frame.  The material is so good that each material run comes with quality certification sheets that show that the material was tested for mechanical properties and an aluminum chemical analysis.

All Crupi frames feature this seamless drawn material which is ovalized at the ends to provide more welding surface.  The chain stays are ovalized at the bottom bracket and rectangular at the dropouts in order to provide more stability in these areas.  The axle slot in the dropouts is parallel to the ground meaning no matter what position your rear wheel is in; the frame geometry will not change.  All Crupi frames come standard with Euro style bottom brackets.

Frame sizing is critical to making your frame work best for you.  When comparing other frames to the Crupi frame, forget what you’ve heard about top tube length since that will not provide accurate information.  Please click on our frame sizing link which will show you how to properly measure a BMX frame to insure you get the best size.
