How excited are you about riding for Crupi and why?  I'm WAY stoked to be part of the Crupi family!  Crupi is such a big name in BMX and has been for so many years.  Crupi for sure has the best product out there, and the staying power to match!  It is a huge honor to be a part of the family!

The Olympics are just around the corner and you are currently 1 of 5 US Elite Men on the USA funded Team which is the USA ’s elite team of BMX athletes training for the Olympics.  Tell us how that affects your everyday life and what rewards there are to being part of this team:  Its great to be a part of this, and a huge honor to get to wear the red white and blue when I’m on the gate at the big races!  I think the only major affect it has is focus, and a little more drive.  The Olympics are in sight and I want a part of it!

Tell us about your daily training routine and how your personal training routine differs from that of the USA Funded Teams routine: Well with the funded team we really don’t have a routine, its pretty much every rider for ourselves.  That is because we all know what works best for ourselves, and we each know what we have to do to make it happen

What are your thoughts about BMX in the Olympics and in what ways do you think this will benefit the sport of BMX?  Well it’s the Olympics and its going to be one of the bigger events at the games.  So you really can't go wrong with that!  I only see it helping our sport, I mean we are starting to see it everyday.  With all the press we are getting and guys signing big deals, its really great to see!

Traveling the world racing is like the “Rock Star” part of BMX today.  Tell us how you achieved BMX “Rock Star” status for the USA ?  When you think about it there is a little rock star in there!  The only difference is we have to be in bed, and not party, but the travel part is cool!  I guess I got the “Rock Start” status, for a lot of hard work, and dedication!

The Olympic training facility in Chula Vista , CA is an almost exact replica of the Olympic track in Beijing China .  How does this track compare to ABA/NBL tracks around the USA ?  Do you think the National caliber tracks around the USA should be more like the Supercross and Olympic tracks for the Pros?  The track down here is great, it is so much fun to ride and great for training!  It is nothing like a regular BMX track, but none of the SX tracks are, so its really good to train on!  I think we for sure need to make the tracks in the USA harder!  I mean some races we don’t even have to make the back wheel leave the ground.

BMX will be in the Olympics in 2008 and in 2012 (after that we don’t know).  What are your plans for after this year’s Olympics?  Just to do the best I can.  Hit up as many races as I can and try to get on that podium!

Since you have raced all over the world, tell us what you like about racing in other countries vs. racing here in the USA The main thing is its just different.  The vibe in other countries is different, and they sometimes put a little more hype on the Elite athletes.  We work hard, and this is our job, so its good to see people get stoked on what we do!

Tell us about some things or hobbies you enjoy doing other than riding/racing: I like to relax at the beach, play with my bulldog Baxter, hang out with the girlfriend/family and just enjoy life!

Describe your best racing accomplishment: I would have to say two of my Elite wins in Europe or that 4th in the SX race in Spain .  Ask me in a few months and I hope to have more to tell you about!

Describe your worst racing experience (on the track or off): I just think when you go out there and don’t perform the way you know you can.  When you know you put in the hard work, but you don’t get the payout like you think you should. That makes things a little rough, but lets not talk about the bad side haha!

Who is your favorite or most respected rider on the track and why:  I respect Allier and Stumpy.  Allier for his style and what he can do on a bike, and Stumpy for being Stumpy.  Amazing rider and amazing person!

Tell us about what goals you have for both life and racing: Life wise I want to live life to the fullest!  Be a good role model, and most important do the work God has put me here to do no matter what it is!

What racing tip or advice would you like to give other riders: Just stick with it and remember you get out of it what you put into it!  The hard work will pay off, its just how bad do you want it!

Final thoughts or anything you would like to say: I just want to say I’m stoked to be a part of the Crupi family!  When ever you see me at a race feel free to come up and say hi!  Have a great day and god bless!!
